USS Abraham Lincoln sailors wave to crowd after docking in San Diego
The crowd gathered to see the USS Lincoln as it docked in San Diego after a 321-deployment. Some of the crew could be seen talking on their cell phones, taking pictures or waving their hats. At least one sailor made a heart with their fingers. Others seem to scan the crowd. The aircraft carrier looked rusted and worn after it docked. Painted on the side of the vessel was a mural with “Operation Epic Fury,” the name of military operation against Iran, and outlines of what is presumably enemy planes and ships sunk by the Lincoln.
