Tak Menyangka Pusat Data Nasional Diretas, Wapres Ma'ruf: Tak Terpikirkan Segitu Dahsyatnya

Hal itu disampaikan Ma'ruf di Pondok Pesantren Salaf Al Quran (PPSQ) Asy-Syadzili 1, Malang, Jawa Timur pada Jumat (28/6/2024).
"Ternyata ketika dipusatkan, begitu diretas semua jadi kena. Tidak terpikirkan dahulu ada peretasan segitu dahsyatnya. Jadi ini memang tidak terpikirkan dulu," kata Ma'ruf Amin dalam siaran YouTube Sekretariat Wakil Presiden.
Menurut Ma'ruf, gagasan awal pembuatan PDN adalah untuk menyatukan pengelolaan data kementerian/lembaga dan instansi pemerintah.
Ia pun membenarkan sempat muncul berbagai pendapat dari kalangan pakar keamanan siber kalau PDN rentan mengalami peretasan.
"Memang dulu pusat data itu dianggap bahwa di beberapa komunitas-komunitas lembaga kita itu mudah diretas. Sehingga disatukan jadi Pusat Data Nasional,” ujar Ma'ruf.
