Machtkampf zwischen CDU und CSU ist entbrannt!Nach dem Rückzug von Jens Spahn als Unionsfraktionschef ist die erste wichtige Personalentscheidung gefallen: Thorsten Frei soll die Führung der CDU/CSU-Bundestagsfraktion übernehmen. Für Kanzler Friedrich Merz ist Frei laut BILD-Chefautor Politik Peter Thiede die naheliegende Lösung. Er gilt als anerkannt in der Fraktion und soll auch ein gutes Verhältnis zur SPD haben.
Doch der Personalwechsel könnte nur der Anfang sein. Denn mit dem Wechsel von Frei aus dem Kanzleramt entsteht dort eine weitere wichtige Lücke. Wer künftig die mächtige Behörde an der Seite des Kanzlers führen soll, ist noch offen. Thiede erwartet deshalb weitere Personalrochaden in der Bundesregierung – und möglicherweise einen größeren Machtkampf zwischen CDU und CSU.
