በኬንያ በቀጠለው የተቃውሞ ሰልፍ ፖሊስ ናይሮቢ ውስጥ ሰልፈኞችን በአስለቃሽ ጭስ በተ?
አጃንስ ፍራንስ ፕሬስ ከሥፍራው ባጠናቀረው ዘገባው እንዳመለከተው በቅርቡ የሃገሪቱ ፓርላማ ያረቀቀውን የቀረጥ ጭማሪ ረቂቅ ሕግ በመቃወም የተካሄዱትን እና የሰው ሕይወት የጠፋባቸውን ሰላማዊ ሰልፎች ተከትሎ፤ የኬንያ መንግስት የቀረበውን ረቂቅ ሕግ መሰረዙን ይፋ ቢያደርግም፤ በወጣቶች የሚመራ አዲስ የተቃውሞ ሰልፍ ግን ተጧጡፎ መቀጠሉ ታውቋል።ፕሬዚዳንት ዊልያም ሩቶ ቀደም ሲል ‘በአገር ከሚፈጸም ክህደት የሚቆጠር’ የሚል ሥያሜ ሰጥተውት ለነበረው የተቃውሞ ሰልፍ ምክኒያት የሆነውን አወዛጋቢ የፋይናንስ ረቂቅ ሕግ ፈርመው የማያጸድቁ መሆናቸውን ባለፈው ሳምንት ይፋ ቢያደርጉም፤ ሰልፈኞቹ ግን በአንጻሩ የተቃውሞ ዘመቻቸውን አጠናክረው መቀጠል መርጠዋል። በሌላ በኩል ለሁለት ሳምንታት በዘለቀው ሕዝባዊ ተቃውሞ 39 ሰዎች ሲገደሉ፣ ቁጥራቸው 361 የሚደርሱ ሰዎች የመቁሰል አደጋ የደረሰባቸው መሆኑን የኬንያ ብሔራዊ የሰብአዊ መብቶች ኮሚሽን በትላንትናው እለት አስታውቋል። ኮምሽኑ አያይዞም በተቃውሞ ሰልፍ አድራጊዎቹ ላይ የተወሰደውን የኃይል እርምጃም “ከመጠን ያለፈና እና ያልተመጣጠነ” ሲል አውግዟል።
ይህ በእንዲህ እንዳለ የቀደሙት የተቃውሞ ሰልፎች በተካሄዱባቸው የናይሮቢ ማዕከላዊ የንግድ መናሃሪያ አካባቢዎች የሚገኙ መደብሮች እና የንግድ ቤቶች ተዘግተው ሲውሉ፤ ፖሊስ አነስተኛ ቁጥር ያላቸውን በአካባቢው የተሰበሰቡ ሰልፈኞች ለመበተን አልፎ አልፎ አስለቃሽ ጭስ ሲተኮስ ታይቷል።
በተያያዘ የተቃዋሚዎች ጠንካራ ይዞታ በሆነችው የባህር ዳርቻይቱ ሞምባሳ፤ ኪሱሙ፣ ናኩሩ እና ኒሪ በተባሉ አካባቢዎች ቁጥራቸው በዛ ያሉ የተቃውሞ ሰልፈኞች እና የፖሊስ አባላት እንቅስቃሴን የኬንያ ቴሌቭዥን አሳይቷል።
ይህ በእንዲህ እንዳለ ሩቶ የኬንያ ወጣቶችን ቅሬታቸውን ለመስማት እና ለማነጋገር ዝግጁ መሆናቸውን ቢያመለክቱም፣ የሰልፉ አደራጆች ግን በተቃውሞ እንቅስቃሴው ‘እንቀጥላለን’ ሲሉ ዝተዋል።
በማኅበራዊ ሚዲያ ላይ ባሰፈሯቸው ጽሁፎችም በያዝነው ሳምንት ተጨማሪ የተቃውሞ እንቅስቃሴዎችን ለማካሄድ ጥሪ አድርገዋል። “ሩቶ ያለ አንዳች ቅድመ ሁኔታ ስልጣናቸውን እስኪለቅቁ ድረስ አናቆምም” የሚሉ አንዳንድ በራሪ ወረቀቶችም ታይተዋል።
