TRIBUN-VIDEO.COM - Ratusan mahasiswa Usu menggelar aksi unjuk rasa di Kantor DPRD Sumut, Selasa (26/8/2025). Unjuk rasa itu digelar bentuk dari sikap mereka agar Dewan Perwakilan Rakyat (DPR) dibubarkan.

Pantauan Tribun Medan mahasiswa ini mengepung Jalan Imam Bonjol yang mengakibatkan jalan ditutup sementara.

Dalam aksi itu, mereka menyanyikan lagu tikus-tikus kantor dan menyuarakan tentang tidak ada fungsinya DPR di Indonesia.

Selain itu, aksi ini mulai ricuh saat ketua aksi meminta para mahasiswa ini maju tiga langkah.

"Teman-teman maju tinga langkah," terang ketua aksi

Tak lama mereka maju dan sempat ada aksi dorong-dorongan dengan pihak kepolisian di depan pintu gerbang yang sempat membuat situasi memanas.

"Makanya pak izinkan kami masuk, jangan dilarang," ucap ketua aksi.

Dan aksi dorong-dorongan ini sempat terjadi berkali-kali. Dan sebagian lainnya mulai membakar ban dan Selain itu sebagian dari mahasiswa ini melemapar botol air mineral ke dalam gedung DPRD.

"Jangan larang kami masuk pak, satu komando satu tujuan. DPR tidak ada fungsinya," ucapnya.
