Kseniia ricorda quando, il 24 febbraio di tre anni fa, sua mamma le ha detto che l'esercito russo stava avanzando verso Kiev, la loro città. Lei aveva solo 17 anni, stava studiando per l'esame di maturità e aveva una vita normale. Due settimane dopo si è ritrovata in un Paese diverso, l'Italia, con un permesso di protezione speciale per l'emergenza ucraina e senza conoscere la lingua.
