Namun, keluarga Rejauw tetap mengklaim hak sah atas tanah tersebut dan mendukung proyek pembangunan markas militer.
Sementara itu, menurut pantauan BBC, pembangunan Batalion Infanteri Teritorial Pembangunan (Yonif TP) 858 Manunggal Setya Bhakti di Brimpewer, Distrik Biak Timur, terus berlangsung.
