Ratusan roket canggih itu diluncurkan Hizbullah pada Rabu (17/7/2024), waktu setempat.
Serangan balasan dari Hizbullah tersebut menghujani permukiman Sa'ar dan Gesher Hazif, Israel Utara.
Sebelumnya diketahui, lima orang yang tewas karena ditembaki Israel, tiga di antaranya adalah anak-anak Suriah.
Sementara 2 orang lainnya yang tewas akibat serangan drone Israel di jalan Kfar Tebnit di Lebanon selatan.
Tak terima dengan serangan Israel, Hizbullah mengatakan pihaknya meluncurkan serangan balasan pada Rabu dini hari.
Serangan balasan tersebut dengan meluncurkan ratusan roket Katyusha.
Menurut media Israel, serangan Hizbullah ini akan menjadi kedua kalinya di mana pejuang Lebanon meluncurkan rentetan roket.
Khususnya terhadap wilayah Utara yang diduduki Israel.
Akibat serangan roket Hizbullah, suasana Israel utara tidak tenang.
Dilaporkan sirene yang berbunyi cukup kencang di Nahariya dan pemukiman sekitarnya sejak pukul 02:32 pagi, waktu setempat.
Hizbullah telah memperingatkan pendudukan tentang apa yang akan terjadi dalam beberapa jam dan hari ke depan.
