Michal Sadilek baru membela Ceko pada kemenangan 7-1 atas Malta pada Jumat (7/6/2024) di mana ia juga dipercaya sebagai kapten tim.
Sadilek adalah pemain berusia 25 tahun yang memperkuat klub Liga Belanda FC Twente.

Federasi sepak bola Ceko mengumumkan bahwa sang gelandang akan absen dari Euro 2024 setelah menderita luka terbuka di kakinya.
“Ini adalah kemunduran besar bagi kami," ujar pelatih Ceko Ivan Hasek seperti dikutip dari situs resmi federasi.
"Michal adalah salah satu pemain kami yang paling berpengalaman."

Republik Ceko akan menghadapi Makedonia Utara dalam laga persahabatan pada 10 Juni. Ini akan menjadi pertandingan terakhir mereka sebelum bertanding di turnamen.
