Після захисту дисертації став ще й доктором філософії.Протягом останніх років дружина Дмитра Бузницького Алла Продан набувала елітну нерухомість у Києві й Київській області, а у 2024 році разом із чоловіком отримала квартиру в преміальному київському житловому комплексі Jack House в самому центрі столиці.
Це житло обійшлося родині офіційно в 9 гривень 47 копійок. Такою була відновна вартість приватизації квартири. Хоча ринкова ціна аналогічного за площею житла в цьому будинку становила близько 235 тисяч доларів або близько 9,7 млн грн.
