JAKARTA, KOMPAS.TV - Rabu (30/7) siang, Roy Suryo bersama Tim Advokasi Anti Kriminalisasi Akademisi dan Aktivis mendatangi Kantor Kejaksaan Negeri Jakarta Selatan.Mereka menyerahkan surat permohonan eksekusi terhadap Ketua Umum Solidaritas Merah Putih, Silfester Matutina yang telah divonis bersalah dalam kasus fitnah sejak 2019.
Kasus ini bermula dari laporan keluarga Jusuf Kalla. Di tingkat Pengadilan Negeri Jakarta Selatan, Silfester divonis satu tahun penjara. Namun setelah mengajukan banding hingga kasasi, hukumannya diperberat menjadi satu tahun enam bulan.
Menurut Roy Suryo, hingga berita ditulis Kejari Jakarta Selatan belum mengeksekusi putusan kasasi yang telah berkekuatan hukum tetap.
