Tim penyelamat tengah mencari para korban di lokasi perkemahan yang tersapu banjir. Pohon-pohon tumbang dan sejumlah kendaraan rusak parah.
Di lokasi ini, 27 orang dinyatakan hilang akibat tersapu air saat sedang berkemah di musim panas.
Menurut data saat ini, banjir bandang telah menewaskan sedikitnya 67 orang dan 21 di antaranya adalah anak-anak.
Banjir sempat mencapai ketinggian 8 meter, menerjang sejumlah rumah dan kendaraan.
Kejadian ini terjadi pada waktu subuh, ketika para korban sedang terlelap.
