In this concert in the “Große Reihe” series at Frankfurt's Alte Oper, the brilliant young piano virtuoso Alexander Malofeev performs one of the most popular works of the Romantic period, Tchaikovsky's Piano Concerto No. 1. Ivan Repušić furthermore presents three delightful musical postcard motifs from Italy and Croatia by Blagoje Bersa, Peter Tchaikovsky and Ottorino Respighi.
