USA: Spenden retten 78-jährigen Lieferfahrer – eine Million Dollar in nur sieben Tagen gesammeltEine Spendenkampagne aus Tennessee sorgt für Schlagzeilen: Über eine Million Dollar wurden innerhalb einer Woche für den 78-jährigen Lieferfahrer Richard Pully gesammelt. Der Rentner arbeitet trotz Ruhestand für den Lieferdienst DoorDash, weil die Medikamente für ihn und seine Frau kaum noch bezahlbar sind. Initiiert wurde die Aktion von einer Kundin, nachdem sie ein Überwachungsvideo der Lieferung gesehen hatte. Mehr als 32.000 Menschen spendeten und gaben dem Paar Hoffnung auf finanzielle Entlastung. Die Solidarität in den USA setzt ein Zeichen für Mitmenschlichkeit und Zusammenhalt.
