KOMPAS.TV- Belakangan media sosial dan pemberitaan tengah ramai membahas soal Haji Furoda. Melansir dari kompas.tv, diketahui menurut Anggota Tim Pengawas Haji DPR RI Abdul Wachid pemerintah Arab Saudi sedang memperketat pengeluaran visa, utamanya bukan visa resmi haji.
Adapun hal tersebut membuat pemerintah Arab Saudi tidak menerbitkan visa Haji Furoda 2025.
"Ini karena adanya penumpukan jamaah di Arafah, Muzdalifah, dan Mina, padahal visa yang dikeluarkan seharusnya sudah sesuai kuota lokasi", terang Abdul Wachid, dilansir dari kompas.tv Senin, 2 Juni 2025.
Abdul Wachid menambahkan, kewenangan soal visa furoda diautur secara penuh dari Pemerintah Arab Saudi dan Indonesia tidak punya kewenangan untuk mengatur jumlah juga distribusinya.
Lantas, apa yang dimaksud dengan Haji Furoda? Melasnir dari Baznas, Haji Furoda adalah program khusus dari Pemerintah Arab Saudi dari undangan khusus kepada Jemaah Haji di luar kuota resmi nasional. Adapun Jemaah Haji menggunakan visa undangan khusus disebut sebagai "visa mujamalah" atau "visa undangan dengan jumlah yang terbatas.
