Quando si parla di adozione dell'intelligenza artificiale, l’Italia presenta un panorama estremamente eterogeneo. Accanto ad aziende all'avanguardia capaci di integrare l’IA nei propri processi strategici, convivono infatti realtà ancora indietro nella trasformazione digitale. «La cosa importante è tener conto che l'intelligenza artificiale è un motore del cambiamento. Oggi la competitività passa sempre più attraverso l'IA, uno strumento di accelerazione in un mercato che ci richiede sempre di più velocità e flessibilità» ha dichiarato Nicola Russo, head of Data & Intelligence Ntt Data Italia, durante l'AI Week, svoltasi a Fiera Milano Rho il 19 e 20 maggio. Spesso chiediamo all'IA informazioni che non possediamo o governiamo. Secondo Russo è invece fondamentale che le aziende possano controllare sia le informazioni che le infrastrutture su cui queste tecnologie si basano. In questo modo si evita che vengano affidati all’IA dati che le imprese non sono in grado di governare in modo autonomo.
