Giorgia Meloni ha partecipato oggi, giovedì 18 settembre, alla cerimonia per l'abbattimento del diaframma nel tunnel della galleria di base del Brennero. Sul palco con la premier anche il ministro ministro di Trasporti Matteo Salvini, il presidente della Provincia Autonoma di Bolzano, Arno Kompatscher e alle autorità austriache. Al termine degli interventi istituzionali, tra flash e applausi, è stato premuto un grande pulsante che ha dato il via alla demolizione dell’ultimo tratto del traforo al confine di Stato, segnando un passo simbolico dell’avanzamento dei lavori della galleria del Brennero.
Si tratta del primo collegamento sotterraneo tra Italia ed Austria. Una volta terminata sarà la galleria ferroviaria più lunga al Mondo con 65 chilometri.
