JAKARTA, KOMPAS.TV - Presiden Prabowo Subianto tiba di Tanah Air usai menyaksikan penandatanganan kesepakatan damai Gaza di Mesir. Prabowo menegaskan komitmen kuat Indonesia dalam mendukung upaya perdamaian di Timur Tengah, khususnya terkait konflik antara Israel dan Palestina.Prabowo menjelaskan, pertemuan tersebut menjadi langkah awal yang baik dalam upaya menciptakan perdamaian yang berkelanjutan di Jalur Gaza.
Prabowo juga menegaskan bahwa Indonesia selama ini aktif memberikan dukungan kepada rakyat Palestina, baik dalam bentuk diplomasi, bantuan kemanusiaan, maupun logistik.
Prabowo mengungkapkan bahwa Indonesia telah diminta oleh sejumlah negara mediator seperti Amerika Serikat, Turki, Qatar, dan Mesir untuk menunjukkan kesiapan dalam kontribusi lebih lanjut, termasuk kemungkinan pengiriman pasukan penjaga perdamaian.
