TRIP REPORT | First Time on Delta One Suites! | New York to Los Angeles | DELTA Boeing 767-400
Delta Airlines Trip Report flying from New York to Los Angeles on board one of the Delta Boeing 767-400, in Delta One class, on a lovely autumn afternoon.An extremely comfortable flight from New York JFK to Lo Angeles on the Delta B767. Delta One is the absolute best product that Delta Airlines offers in any of their planes, and today we’re gonna test it in what is probably their most important route: New York to Los Angeles, 4,000km across the United States on a 6h+ flight.
After some interesting exploration of JFK’s Terminal 4 as well as some planespotting, we boarded the B767 that would take us to the other coast of the USA. The Delta One fitted on this plane was the latest version, not only the seats but also the full suites. Perfect for any kind of flight.
We took off on-time from New York and, after some turns over the city and surroundings, we started our route towards California. We overflew the Lakes Huron & Michigan, The Rocky Mountains, the Glen & Great Canyons, the Mojave Desert and the San Bernardino Mountains before starting an amazing approach over the city of Los Angeles, for an on-time landing.
About the onboard service, on this occasion, I have to say that the food was amazing. I must admit as well that it didn’t have the best appearance at the beginning, but the taste was just amazing; at the level that you would expect from Delta One. What I missed was a second snack service before landing, some small warm plate would be the cherry on the top of a great service.
