Si preguntásemos a cien personas al azar en una calle de cualquier ciudad del mundo, qué tienen en común: Diego Maradona, Leo Messi y Carlos Gardel, la inmensa mayoría, responderían que son argentinos. Solo unos pocos dirían que no, que Carlos Gardel nació en Toulouse, Francia, y que, por lo tanto, no era estrictamente argentino. Los aficionados dirían que Gardel declaró en una entrevista que él “nació en Buenos Aires a la edad de dos años” por lo que sí que era argentino, no francés y ni mucho menos uruguayo como sugieren otros. Pero... ¿cuál es la respuesta correcta?, ¿son las tres?, ¿ninguna de ellas?
