Urteil: Lebenslang wegen tödlichem Anschlag auf ver.di-Demo
Im Prozess um den tödlichen Anschlag auf eine ver.di-Demonstration in München ist der Angeklagte zu lebenslanger Haft verurteilt worden. Das Oberlandesgericht stellte bei dem 25-Jährigen zudem die besondere Schwere der Schuld fest.Er war im Februar 2025 mit einem Auto in eine ver.di-Demonstration in München gefahren. Eine Frau und ihre zweijährige Tochter starben, zahlreiche Menschen wurden – teils lebensgefährlich – verletzt.
Der aus Afghanistan stammende Mann habe als Reaktion auf die Situation in islamischen Ländern willkürlich ausgewählte Menschen in Deutschland angreifen und töten wollen, sagte der Richter. Das Urteil ist für die Überlebenden ein wichtiger Schritt, viele von ihnen kämpfen bis heute mit den Folgen der Tat.
