Schwerer Unfall in Heidelberg – Auto kollidiert mit Straßenbahn
Bei einem schweren Verkehrsunfall zwischen einem Auto und einer Straßenbahn ist am Donnerstagmorgen in Heidelberg eine 26-jährige Autofahrerin verletzt worden. Nach ersten Informationen war die Ampelanlage an der Kreuzung Speyerer Straße / Carl-Benz-Straße offenbar außer Betrieb.Die Frau war gegen 8:20 Uhr mit ihrem Citroën stadtauswärts unterwegs, als es im Kreuzungsbereich zur Kollision mit einer Straßenbahn kam. Durch die Wucht des Aufpralls überschlug sich das Auto zweimal und kam anschließend wieder auf den Rädern zum Stehen.
Die Fahrerin wurde verletzt in ein Krankenhaus gebracht. In der Straßenbahn blieben Fahrer und Fahrgäste unverletzt.
Der Citroën erlitt Totalschaden und musste abgeschleppt werden. Auch die Straßenbahn blockierte nach dem Unfall querstehend vorübergehend den Kreuzungsbereich. Der entstandene Sachschaden wird auf rund 50.000 Euro geschätzt.
