Dikutip dari Al Mayadeen, Sabtu (26/7), kebocoran gas ini memicu kemarahan publik di Israel.
Jika warga Israel menghirup gas beracun tersebut, maka nyawa mereka akan terancam.
Lantas, pemerintah Israel meminta pemukim di sekitar lokasi tetap di dalam rumah demi menghindari paparan zat berbahaya.
Dikabarkan hingga 36 jam setelah serangan, kebocoran gas belum dapat dikendalikan sepenuhnya.
Sebagai informasi, fasilitas listrik Ashalim menjadi sumber energi penting di kawasan Israel Selatan.
Kini fasilitas tersebut tak berfungsi dan dikelilingi kepulan asap beracun akibat serangan dari Houthi.
Sementara itu, Kementerian Energi Israel masih menyelidiki sumber kerusakan, sementara warga mengecam lambatnya respons pemerintah Zionis.
