Sono passati solo pochi giorni dalla liberazione di Julian #Assange e già è nata una divisione di opinioni sul caporedattore di #WikiLeaks.
Dopo 5 anni di carcere in Regno Unito e un processo decennale, il giornalista australiano è tornato in Australia dopo aver patteggiato con gli Stati Uniti, che lo accusarono di aver illecitamente diffuso documenti militari segreti. Il fatto ha destato più di qualche critica verso la figura di Assange. E' rimbalzata sui social quella del giornalista Stefano Feltri, che già nel febbraio scorso diceva a Omnibus: "Va ricordato che Assange ha fatto delle cose in una fase della sua carriera di attivista, perché non è un giornalista, che servivano a Putin".

Dopo la liberazione, Feltri ha scritto nel suo blog: "Il fondatore di Wikileaks si dichiara colpevole, la giustizia americana alla quale si è sempre sottratto lo lascia libero. Altro che persecuzione. Assange non era un martire, ma un equivoco".
Poi l'accostamento con Matteo Messina Denaro: "Assange non ha mai avuto un processo perché è stato un latitante, come neanche Matteo Messina Denaro". Da Francesco Borgonovo interviene il giornalista Giorgio Kadmo Pagano, che commenta le affermazioni di Feltri.
