El ministro de Relaciones Exteriores de Irán, Seyed Abbas Araghchi, ha reiterado que su país desea alcanzar un acuerdo justo y equitativo con Estados Unidos lo antes posible. En una publicación en X, Araghchi afirmó que ambas partes tienen una "oportunidad histórica" para alcanzar un acuerdo sin precedentes y añadió que dicho consenso es alcanzable si se da prioridad a la diplomacia. Por su parte, el jefe del Estado Mayor de las Fuerzas Armadas iraníes, Abdolrahim Mousavi, advirtió que Irán infligirá grandes bajas al enemigo en caso de ataque. Mientras, los responsables de seguridad israelíes ven improbable un avance diplomático con la República Islámica y consideran que solo es cuestión de tiempo para que Estados Unidos ataque Irán.
