Los cubanos llevan varios días saliendo a las calles para protestar. A las demandas de la ciudadanía común se han sumado ahora algunos estudiantes universitarios que reclaman transformaciones en el modelo de educación superior en la isla. Ayer, un grupo de ellos protagonizó una sentada pacífica en la escalinata de la Universidad de La Habana. Mientras algunos respaldan la iniciativa, otros observan el movimiento con escepticismo y levantan dudas sobre su alcance y sus motivaciones.Para analizar lo que está ocurriendo estaremos conversando con los investigadores del Observatorio de Libertad Académica, Omara Isabel Ruiz Urquiola y Leonardo Fernández Otaño.
Además, una reciente decisión de un juez federal en Estados Unidos podría dar más tiempo —y también nuevas esperanzas— a muchos cubanos en situación migratoria irregular cuyos casos de asilo han sido rechazados.
