El comercio bilateral entre China y Francia mantiene su fortaleza a pesar de las dificultades globales.
En 2024, el volumen comercial entre los dos países se acercó a los 80 mil millones de dólares. Las exportaciones chinas a Francia superaron los 44 mil millones, lo que supone un crecimiento anual de casi el 7 %. Francia es el tercer mayor socio comercial de China dentro de la Unión Europea, mientras que China se mantiene como el principal socio comercial de Francia en Asia.
La cooperación entre ambas partes abarca ciencia, cultura, educación, medio ambiente y energía nuclear.
