AFD IN DER ZWICKMÜHLE: "Das bleibt wirklich spannend!" Verrückte Konstellation in Sachsen-Anhalt!In Sachsen-Anhalt spitzt sich der Machtkampf vor der Landtagswahl weiter zu. Die AfD liegt laut aktueller INSA-Umfrage bei 42 Prozent und damit 20 Punkte vor der CDU. BSW und Linke könnten damit zu entscheidenden Faktoren für die Regierungsbildung werden.
Für AfD-Spitzenkandidat Ulrich Siegmund eröffnet das neue Möglichkeiten. Sollte das BSW den Einzug in den Landtag schaffen, könnte es sich im dritten Wahlgang enthalten und Siegmund damit den Weg ins Ministerpräsidentenamt ebnen. Eine Koalition zwischen AfD und BSW gilt dagegen als eher unwahrscheinlich.
Doch auch CDU-Ministerpräsident Sven Schulze steht vor einem Dilemma. Die Linke bietet ihre Unterstützung an, um einen AfD-Ministerpräsidenten zu verhindern. Damit könnte ausgerechnet die Partei, gegen die die CDU ebenfalls eine Brandmauer errichtet hat, zur entscheidenden Stütze für Schulze werden. Die Wahl am 6. September könnte damit zu einer historischen Machtprobe werden, erläutert WELT-Redakteur Gerrit Seebald.
