Si te gustan las pelis de Van Damme como León: Peleador Sin Ley (Lionheart) y Kickboxer no te puedes perder esta legendaria película de luchas callejeras, protagonizada por Daniel Bernhardt en lugar del actor original, Jean-Claude Van Damme.Alex Cardo, ahora un guerrero más sabio, es llamado a luchar una vez más en el Kumite. En esta ocasión, Cardo se enfrenta a un desafío personal y espiritual tras la muerte de su mentor, Sun. Para honrar a su maestro, Cardo debe derrotar al brutal criminal de guerra "El Bestia" (Nicholas Worth), el cual ha sido reclutado por el siniestro organizador del torneo, Duvalier (John Rhys-Davies). La película se centra en la preparación de Cardo, que incluye una nueva fase de entrenamiento espiritual, para que pueda prevalecer en el torneo y vengar la muerte de Sun.
"Bloodsport 3" sigue la misma fórmula de su predecesora "Bloodsport 2", pero intenta profundizar en el elemento espiritual de las artes marciales, aunque con resultados mixtos. La película retoma la narrativa de Cardo buscando venganza, lo que le da un motor emocional más fuerte que la simple redención del filme anterior. Continúa ofreciendo secuencias de combate decentes y Daniel Bernhardt luce más cómodo en el papel. La adición de actores conocidos como John Rhys-Davies le da un ligero aumento en el valor de producción.
