(LaPresse) A Roma una 20enne incensurata è stata arrestata in flagranza dai carabinieri perché gravemente indiziata del reato di truffa aggravata ai danni di anziani. La giovane è stata bloccata dopo aver tentato di raggirare una 88enne con la tecnica del finto carabiniere. L’anziana è stata contattata telefonicamente da un uomo che si è presentato come un maggiore dei carabinieri, che ha riferito alla donna che la figlia era rimasta coinvolta in un grave reato la notte precedente e che, per questo motivo, avrebbe dovuto consegnare tutti i gioielli in oro in suo possesso, indicandoli falsamente come provento di una rapina. L’88enne, senza farsi prendere dal panico e senza cadere nel tranello, ha finto di assecondare le richieste del malvivente, riuscendo nel frattempo a contattare il 112 e a chiedere l’intervento dei militari. La segnalazione ha fatto scattare una tempestiva e coordinata operazione: d'intesa con la vittima, i carabinieri hanno predisposto un dispositivo di osservazione e appostamento, sia all’interno sia all’esterno dello stabile.
Quando la 20enne e si è presentata alla porta dell’anziana per riscuotere il bottino, i carabinieri sono intervenuti bloccandola sul pianerottolo dell’abitazione.
