Kedua kelompok yang bentrok ialah ormas Perjuangan Walisongo Indonesia Laskar Sabilillah (PWI‑LS) dan Front Persatuan Islam (FPI).
Kericuhan terjadi karena PWI LS menolak kehadiran Rizieq Shihab kemudian mengerahkan massa ke lokasi acara.
Hingga Kamis (24/7/2025) pagi, ada sembilan orang korban bentrokan tersebut yang dilarikan ke RSI Siaga Medika Pemalang.
Satu di antara mereka mengalami luka serius di kepala.
