Posisinya diisi oleh Ketua DPC PDIP Kota Surakarta FX Hadi Rudyatmo alias FX Rudy yang ditunjuk sebagai Pelaksana Tugas (Plt) Ketua DPD PDIP Jawa Tengah.
Ketua DPP PDIP Bidang Keanggotaan dan Organisasi, Andreas Hugo Pareira mengatakan, hal itu dilakukan karena Bambang Pacul melanggar aturan organisasi terkait larangan rangkap jabatan.
Keputusan itu juga diambil berdasarkan Anggaran Dasar dan Anggaran Rumah Tangga (AD/ART) Partai Tahun 2025 serta Peraturan Partai Nomor 1 Tahun 2025.
Andreas menjelaskan, dalam aturan tersebut ditegaskan kader partai yang telah ditetapkan sebagai pengurus DPP PDIP, tidak diperbolehkan merangkap jabatan pada struktur kepengurusan di tingkat lain.
