$2000 за ліжко, 15 годин дороги і 40 тисяч хасидів: як Умань готується до Рош га-Ша?
Умань готується прийняти близько 40 тисяч паломників на Рош га-Шана – юдейський Новий рік. Цьогоріч свято триватиме з 11 до 13 вересня.Хасиди їдуть до Умані з Ізраїлю та інших країн світу, щоб зустріти Новий рік біля могили Цадика Нахмана. Дехто витрачає на дорогу до 15 годин, а за ліжко у місті напередодні свята платить тисячі доларів.
У 2025 році туристичний збір від паломників приніс бюджету Умані близько 20 мільйонів гривень. Цьогоріч місто очікує приблизно таку ж кількість гостей. Офіційний туристичний збір у 2026 році становить 216,18 грн за добу для проживання в готелях та 432,35 грн – у квартирах, будинках та інших приватних помешканнях.
