Manchester: Mehrere Verletzte bei Angriff vor Synagoge
Am höchsten jüdischen Feiertag Jom Kippur sind vor einer Synagoge in Manchester mehrere Menschen angegriffen worden. Auf X teilte die britische Polizei mit, sie sei kurz nach 9:30 Uhr von einem Bürger zur Synagoge der Heaton Park Hebrew Congregation in Crumpsall gerufen worden. Der Anrufer gab an, er habe beobachtet, wie ein Auto auf Bürger zugefahren sei und ein Mann niedergestochen worden sei. Nach ersten Erkenntnissen gibt es mindestens vier Verletzte. Nach ihrem Eintreffen gab die Polizei Schüsse ab, der Tatverdächtige sei getroffen worden.
