Созданная для продвижения русского искусства, эта антреприза довольно быстро превратилась в совершенно интернациональное предприятие, сотрудничающее с лучшими людьми века — от Пикассо и Кокто до Матисса и Дебюсси. И все это пришлось строить в эмиграции, практически с нуля, посреди войн и революций. Как это произошло?
