Urteil: US-Rapper Sean „Diddy“ Combs teilweise schuldig gesprochen
Im New Yorker Prozess gegen den US-Rapper Sean „Diddy“ Combs haben die zwölf Geschworenen ihr Urteil verkündet: Sie sprachen ihn in zwei von fünf Anklagepunkten schuldig, unter anderem wegen Nötigung zur Prostitution.In den schwerwiegendsten Anklagepunkten wurde Combs jedoch freigesprochen. Das gilt etwa für den Vorwurf des Menschenhandels zum Zweck der sexuellen Ausbeutung sowie der Bildung einer kriminellen Vereinigung - Vorwürfe, die ihn für den Rest seines Lebens ins Gefängnis hätten bringen können.
Dem 55-jährigen Combs drohen nach dem teilweisen Schuldspruch bis zu zwanzig Jahre Gefängnis und ein Ende seiner Karriere als erfolgreicher Musikmanager, Modeunternehmer, Markenbotschafter und Reality-TV-Star.
