Il suono della sua chitarra e le note della loro canzone preferita. Daniel Toledo ha ricordato così la moglie Mariana Morgado Dietrich, scomparsa a 36 anni a causa di una malattia improvvisa. Al termine del funerale, celebrato il 4 marzo nel cimitero monumentale di Trento, Toledo ha preso lo strumento – regalato dalla moglie lo scorso Natale – e le ha dedicato Dia especial, brano del gruppo brasiliano Cidadão Quem. La coppia, infatti, si era trasferita in Italia proprio dal Paese sudamericano nel 2017: «All’inizio della nostra relazione abitavamo distanti, come se fossimo uno a Roma e l’altra a Trento. Dopo sei mesi che ci conoscevamo, Mariana è rimasta incinta e abbiamo affrontato un periodo di grandi insicurezze. Ecco, la canzone parla dell’opposto di questo perché sottolinea come quando trovi la persona giusta riesci ad affrontare ogni difficoltà.
