- Metal Gear Solid Delta offers two display modes on PS5 and Xbox Series X: Quality and Performance.
- Xbox Series S and PS5 Pro only have one display mode.
- Xbox Series S makes general cutbacks, most noticeable in lighting, reflections, and shadows.
- PS5 Pro tries to maintain the qualities of the quality mode at 60fps, sacrificing, in my opinion, too much internal resolution to end up with uneven performance.
- To make matters worse, PSSR doesn't quite adapt properly in this game, and we have similar problems to those we saw in other games with UE5, such as Silent Hill 2 remake.
- I think this is the first case I've encountered where the PS5 Pro version is less recommendable than the PS5 version.
- The performance mode on XSX/PS5 reduces the quality of ambient occlusion, shadows, and reflections. However, there are differences in this mode.
- PS5 performs a greater lighting cutback in performance mode than Xbox, which tries to maintain the same ambient occlusion as quality mode, albeit with considerable shimmering.
- On the other hand, PS5 does not make major cuts to reflections in performance mode, while Xbox Series X does reduce their quality to a setting similar to that of Xbox Series S.
- Due to these differences, PS5 has higher performance than XSX and PS5 Pro, making it the most stable version.
- I believe it is necessary to make adjustments to PS5 Pro, allowing the implementation of FSR or TSR and a performance mode like that of PS5 at a higher resolution.
🇪🇸

Receive SMS online on sms24.me
