Longsor ini terjadi di Kampung Rawa Sadek RT 1/4, Desa Megamendung seusai diguyur hujan deras pada Sabtu (5/7/2025).
Staf Kedaruratan dan Logistik BPBD Kabupaten Bogor, Jalaluddin membenarkan ada satu santri yang tertimbun akibat longsor tersebut.
Namun hingga saat ini belum diketahui pasti kondisi korban yang tertimbung itu karena pencarian masih dilakukan.
"Informasi sementara seperti itu, satu santri (tertimbun)," ujarnya saat dikonfirmasi TribunnewsBogor.com, Sabtu (5/7/2025).
Dikutip dari Kompas.com, korban yang masih tertimbun diketahui merupakan seorang santri berusia sekitar 17-20 tahun.
Berdasarkan keterangan dari warga, bencana longsor terjadi ketika korban tengah beraktivitas saat hujan deras.
Hingga tengah malam, upaya pencarian terkendala kondisi cuaca dan medan yang sulit.
Akses menuju titik longsor juga cukup sulit dilalui dan berbahaya.
Sementara itu dalam video yang beredar di media sosial, tampak adanya reruntuhan bangunan di balik dinding berwarna hijau.
Narasi yang beredar menyebut bahwa santri itu tertimbun di balik reruntuhan bangunan tersebut.
