Cuitan tersebut berawal dari salah seorang kader PSI, Dedy Nur Palakka, menyebut bahwa ayah Wakil Presiden Indonesia Gibran Rakabuming Raka itu cocok sebagai nabi.

Dedy Nur Palakka, melontarkan pujian kepada Jokowi yang diklaimnya memenuhi syarat sebagai nabi.

Terkait hal itu, Jokowi memberi pesan kepada Dedy Nur Palakka agar berpikir lebih rasional untuk melontarkan sebuah pernyataan.

“Nabi terakhir itu Nabi Muhammad SAW. Kalau ada pemikiran seperti itu. Mikir yang rasional aja,” terangnya saat ditemui awak media di kediaman, Jumat (13/6/2025).
