GÖRLITZ: Rettung nach Einsturz geht weiter – Drei Menschen noch immer verschüttetGörlitz (Sachsen) – Überall Trümmer und die drängende Frage: Befinden sich unter diesem Schutthaufen noch Menschen? Am Montagnachmittag war in der Görlitzer Altstadt ein Haus mit Ferienwohnungen explodiert. Drei Personen, zwei Frauen (25, 26) und ein Mann (48), gelten noch als vermisst.
Seit der Explosion versuchen die Rettungskräfte verzweifelt, zu den möglicherweise Verschütteten vorzudringen. Sie müssen äußerst behutsam vorgehen, denn noch immer strömt Gas aus. Der Geruch zieht sich über die gesamte Straße. Die Feuerwehr kann deshalb kein schweres Gerät einsetzen. „Ein Funke und es könnte eine weitere Explosion geben“, so ein am Einsatz beteiligter Retter. Laut BILD-Informationen soll sich der Absperrhahn unter dem Schutt des Hauses befinden. Weil die Einsatzkräfte an den Hahn nicht herankommen, versuchen Feuerwehr und THW derzeit, die James-von-Moltke-Straße zu öffnen, um die Hauptleitung zu kappen.
