Massa mendesak pemerintah untuk berhenti ikut campur soal perang.
Dikutip dari Newsweek, gelombang protes ini diprakarsai oleh gerakan 50501.
Dinamakan demikian karena melibatkan 50 protes, 50 negara bagian, dan satu gerakan.
Massa telah melakukan protes di sejumlah negara bagian kemarin dan puncaknya diprediksi akan terjadi hari ini, Senin (23/6/2025).
Dalam aksinya, mereka membentangkan slogan-slogan yang mengkritik Donald Trump di sepanjang Times Square.
"Trump adalah seorang penjahat perang," bunyi slogan tersebut.
Trump sebelumnya mengklaim bahwa tindakannya bertujuan untuk mencegah ancaman nuklir Iran.
AS telah membujuk Iran untuk menghentikan program nuklir yang dikhawatirkan berkembang menjadi pengembangan senjata pemusnah massal.
Namun, Iran menolak dan membuat perundingan tersebut menemui jalan buntu.
Di sisi lain, Israel telah melancarkan serangan terhadap fasilitas nuklir Iran pada hari pertama perang.
Iran pun tak tinggal diam dan membalas Israel dalam operasi bernama Operasi Janji Setia III.
