Rogo in una struttura attualmente in costruzione allo stabilimento del gruppo Desa a Sant'Agata Bolognese. A quanto si apprende le fiamme, levatesi intorno alle 18.30, non avrebbero coinvolto persone poiché gli operai al lavoro nell'immobile sulla Persicetana risultano essere andati via dal cantiere prima del divampare dell'incendio. «C'è stato un incendio - spiega il sindaco della città emiliana, Giuseppe Vicinelli -: però possiamo dare due notizie positive. La struttura che è in costruzione era vuota: le uniche persone presenti erano gli operai che lavorano, appunto, alla sua costruzione ed erano andati via mezz'ora prima» della comparsa delle fiamme . «Poi - prosegue il sindaco - c'è una seconda notizia positiva. Essendo uno stabilimento che produce anche detersivi, c'è stato subito allarmismo nube tossica. Io sono andato sul luogo: la struttura è completamente vuota perché è in costruzione quindi la nube nera» che si è sollevata, «era dovuta al materiale del tetto, catrame, polistirolo non certo cose tossiche». Inoltre il rogo «è già stato domato e quindi, per fortuna, sembra che non ci siano né morti né feriti e niente di tossico. Il responsabile della sicurezza mi ha detto la squadra» che era al lavoro «è andata via tutta. A noi risulta che i lavoratori siano andati via tutti». Sul posto, «sulla Persicetana davanti alla Lamborghini Auto - conclude Vicinelli - sono intervenuti i Vigili del Fuoco, i sanitari, c'era l'ambulanza, c'erano tutti», compresi i Carabinieri.
