Pernyataan itu disampaikan Marcella saat bersaksi dalam sidang dugaan suap majelis hakim yang menjatuhkan vonis lepas terhadap tiga korporasi CPO.
Dalam persidangan, jaksa memperlihatkan foto tumpukan uang dalam bentuk dolar AS yang disimpan di dalam brankas.
Jaksa menanyakan sumber uang tersebut kepada Marcella.
Ia menjelaskan bahwa dana itu merupakan kas perusahaannya yang memang disimpan dalam bentuk mata uang asing.
“Itu uang saya, Pak. Saya selalu punya kas dalam bentuk USD,” kata Marcella di Pengadilan Tipikor, Jakarta Pusat, Rabu (10/9/2025).
Marcella menegaskan, uang tersebut bersumber dari success fee sejumlah perkara.
Ia mengungkap salah satu pembayaran terbesar mencapai lebih dari Rp 50 miliar.
Jaksa kemudian menyinggung kemungkinan bahwa dana di dalam brankas berkaitan dengan perkara minyak goreng.
Namun Marcella menolak anggapan itu.
