Tambang Pasir di Cirebon Longsor, 2 Penambang Kakak-Adik Masih Tertimbun
CIREBON, KOMPAS.TV - Dua penambang tertimbun longsor tambang pasir di Harjamukti, Cirebon, Jawa Barat. Sebelumnya, lima warga tengah menambang pasir di lokasi kejadian.Dari lima orang penambang, tiga berhasil menyelamatkan diri, sementara dua lainnya, termasuk sebuah dump truck pengangkut pasir, ikut tertimbun. Warga sekitar menyebut, kedua korban merupakan kakak-beradik.
Hingga Kamis (19/06), proses pencarian korban masih dilakukan. Wali Kota Cirebon, Effendi Edo, menjelaskan bahwa lokasi tersebut merupakan daerah terlarang untuk menambang pasir.
Menurutnya, sudah ada imbauan maupun larangan menambang, namun masih ada warga yang nekat melakukan aktivitas tersebut.
