103. Katholikentag in Erfurt
Gottesdienste, Diskussionsrunden, offene Kirchen und kulturelle Veranstaltungen – fünf Tage lang wird in der Thüringer Landeshauptstadt der Katholikentag gefeiert. Erwartet werden mehr als 20.000 Besucher. Das Festival soll aber nicht nur Christ:innen ins Gespräch bringen, sondern alle Menschen unabhängig von Religion und Herkunft.Der Katholikentag findet alle zwei Jahre an wechselnden Orten statt. Erfurt richtet zum ersten Mal einen Katholikentag aus. In Thüringen sind nur etwa ein Viertel der Bevölkerung Christ:innen, sieben Prozent der Menschen sind katholisch.
