El ministro de Relaciones Exteriores iraní, Seyed Abbas Araghchi, afirmó el jueves en la red social X que es posible alcanzar un acuerdo nuclear con Estados Unidos si este es justo y equilibrado. Añadió que Teherán prefiere la vía diplomática. Ese mismo día, el presidente estadounidense, Donald Trump, indicó que se podría alcanzar un acuerdo nuclear con Irán en el plazo de un mes, y que, de lo contrario, el resultado sería muy traumático. El máximo responsable de seguridad de Irán, Ali Larijani, dijo que aún no se ha fijado la fecha para la próxima ronda de negociaciones, pero que ambas partes desean continuar dialogando.
