RENTENREFORM: „Das war für das System ein großer Fehler“ – Scharfe Kritik von Bert RürupÖkonom Bert Rürup warnt im Streit um das #Rentenpaket eindringlich davor, einzelne Maßnahmen aus der geplanten Reform herauszulösen. Gemeinsam mit 45 weiteren führenden Wissenschaftlern appelliert er an die Politik, das aus 33 Empfehlungen bestehende Paket vollständig umzusetzen. „Wenn man einmal ein Steinchen rausbricht, fällt das System zusammen“, mahnt Rürup im Gespräch. Das Wichtigste in Kürze: • Was fordert Rürup? Die Bundesregierung solle der eingesetzten Kommission folgen und das Reformpaket als Ganzes beschließen, statt einzelne Maßnahmen herauszunehmen. • Warum der Streit um die Rente mit 63? Die 2014 eingeführte Regelung bezeichnet Rürup rückblickend als „großen Fehler“ für das Rentensystem. • Wie lange soll das Paket wirken? Nach seiner Einschätzung könnte die Reform das System für etwa 25 bis 30 Jahre stabilisieren. Welche Folgen hätte ein Aufschnüren des Rentenpakets für die gesetzliche #Rente und die jüngeren Generationen?
