Der Zugang zu Rohstoffen ist wirtschaftlich und politisch von enormer Bedeutung. Vize-Kanzler Lars Klingbeil (SPD) war diese Woche in China und hat Zusagen für weitere Lieferungen von kritischen Rohstoffen bekommen, aber dafür zahlen deutsche Unternehmen einen hohen Preis. „Die Lage ist relativ ernst. Die Firmen sind gezwungen, die Hosen runterzulassen. Man muss sagen wie der Produktionsprozess überhaupt läuft, wie die Lieferketten aufgestellt sind und teilweise sollen sogar Fotos von Anlagen gemacht werden. Das ist aus Wettbewerbsgründen ein schwieriges Thema. Die seltenen Erden gibt es nicht nur in China, aber China hat die Produktion praktisch monopolisiert. Und die Produktion ist ein sehr schmutziges Geschäft”, sagt Michael Blumenroth im Rohstoff-Talk. Gold hat nach den Rekorden der Vorwochen etwas durchgeatmet. Wie könnte es da weitergehen? „Das Durchatmen ist definitiv gut. Es ist noch keinem Markt gut bekommen, ohne Korrekturen nach oben zu gehen. Deswegen denke ich, dass es recht gesund ist. Es spricht weiterhin einiges dafür, dass der Goldpreis Potential hat. Also 5.000 Dollar je Unze würde ich aber trotzdem nicht für alle Zeiten abschreiben mit einem Zeithorizont von ein bis zwei Jahren", so der Experte der Deutschen Bank bei Inside Wirtschaft-Chefredakteur Manuel Koch im Interview.
