Gus Miftah Minta Maaf Buntut 13 Santri Jadi Tersangka Penganiayaan di Ponpes Ora Aji

Permintaan maaf ini buntut kasus hukum, 13 orang santrinya jadi tersangka penganiayaan di Ponpes Ora Aji pada Jumat (30/5/2025).
Diduga penganiayaan tersebut dilakukan karena korban melakukan pencurian, sehingga satu di antara tersangka juga kini melaporkan balik korban atas tuduhan pencurian.
Kuasa Hukum Yayasan Pondok Pesantren (Ponpes) Ora Aji, Adi Susanto, dalam konferensi pers, Sabtu (31/5/2025) menjelaskan peristiwa itu bermula dari aksi vandalisme.
Ponpes asuhan Miftah Maulana Habiburrahman ini sebetulnya sudah mencoba memediasi santri-santi tersebut, namun tidak menemukan titik temu sehingga terjadi pelaporan ke polisi.
Miftah Maulana Habiburrahman, pengasuh pondok pesantren tersebut, menyampaikan permintaan maaf melalui kuasa hukumnya, Adi Susanto.
Peristiwa dugaan penganiayaan terjadi saat Miftah Maulana Habiburrahman sedang melaksanakan ibadah umrah dan tidak berada di lokasi.
Adi Susanto menjelaskan Pondok Pesantren Ora Aji berfungsi sebagai mediator dalam menyelesaikan masalah ini.
Yayasan Pondok Pesantren Ora Aji menegaskan bahwa insiden yang berujung pada tuduhan penganiayaan merupakan masalah antara santri.
